Please note: The Canada Agriculture and Food Museum will be closed September 16 to 20, 2024 for annual maintenance.
As the weather slowly cools in anticipation of autumn, the museum invites you to join us for activities and demonstrations around the theme of “Honouring the Harvest.”
How much do you know about the soil superheroes that live and work beneath our feet? Roll up your sleeves and meet some incredible creatures in our “Amazing Worms” demonstration! Be sure to make time for the “Meet the Turkeys” demonstration as well.
Stop by “Storytime and Kids’ Craft” each morning for a seasonal book reading, followed by a featured craft kids can take home! In the Demonstration Kitchen, we’ll be highlighting some all-star autumn ingredients: pumpkins and corn. Samples of our featured recipes will be available for tasting (while supplies last).
