Meet Wonder Worm

A young woman wearing a headset and a mask holds up a Petri dish filled with soil as she interacts with an audience using a tablet; a series of colourful stuffed toys sit on the counter next to her.

Program description

We often forget that the ground is teeming with life. With your students, discover the creatures hiding underground. During the program, students observe the characteristics of earthworms, study their life cycle and discover how worms contribute to healthy soils.

Note: This program is virtual via Zoom.

Consult this Educational Activity Kit: A Handful of Soil for ideas to extend the learning — and the fun!
