All About Milk

Hours and Location

All About Milk

A young woman wearing a headset and mask stands in a barn stall, holding a brown calf by the halter. The calf’s identification ear tags read “Kaya” and “572.”

Through two-way video conferencing, students meet the dairy cows and calves. Students get a close-up view of the characteristics and needs of cows and their young. They also learn how farmers milk cows, and which other mammals are raised for their milk.
