On-site parking lots
The museum offers paid, on-site parking. Parking revenue helps the museum deliver more educational programming every year.
In addition, there is a new museum parking lot located off Gladwin Cres.
However, due to a high volume of visitors – especially during weekends and holidays – you are encouraged to use alternate modes of transportation.
On-site parking fees
- $3 per hour
- $8 daily maximum*
*Daily maximum parking ticket is valid at the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum, the Canada Aviation and Space Museum, and the Canada Science and Technology Museum. Same day only.
$4 evening flat rate after 5 p.m.

Make payment at one of the easy-to-use pay stations using coins, debit, Visa, Mastercard, or Amex.

Download the Park Indigo app on your phone before your museum visit and skip the lines at the pay stations.
1) Download the app on IOS or Android.
2) When you arrive at the museum, find a parking spot.
3) Using the app, select the museum as your location.
4) Select the desired amount of time.
5) Pay by phone and enjoy your museum visit!

NEW! Museum parking lot off Gladwin Crescent
In addition to the lots in front of and behind the museum, visitors can now park in the lot off Gladwin Crescent, just beside the lighthouse. There is a path from the parking lot to the museum.
Gladwin parking fees
- $5 flat rate
- An attendant is on location to collect parking fees (cash, credit and debit accepted)
