The Canada Science and Technology is a must-see destination for groups visiting Canada’s Capital Region. Visitors are invited to discover, play, and experience how people—through curiosity, observation, and creativity—have made Canada and continue to shape its future. The museum offers 11 engaging exhibitions with hands-on learning experiences as well as fun daily science demonstrations that are sure to excite visitors of all ages.
Located just ten minutes from downtown Ottawa by car, the museum is easily accessible.

Onsite motor coach parking is available with convenient curbside drop-off.
ACCESSIBLE FACILITIES
The museum is committed to providing an accessible environment to visitors of all ages and abilities.
Wheelchairs are available at no extra cost. The museum features a separate gender-neutral/universal washroom, equipped with an adult-sized change table and motorized lift (please mention any special requests upon booking).
FOOD AND DRINK
Savour Express, operated by Bytown Catering, offers fresh grab and go options including a grill menu, Bridgehead Coffee fair-trade coffee, baked goods and wraps. Drinking and bottle-filler fountains are available on-site. Food and drink are not permitted on the museum floor. During temperate weather, picnic tables are available outside. The museum does not permit the use of barbecues or hibachis on site.
BOUTIQUE
No visit is complete without a stop at the Boutique Scientique! Choose from a selection of science books, kits, toys, clothing and more to complement your museum experience. Hours and days of operation may vary.
SENSORY GUIDES
The sensory guides are pre-visit tools to prepare visitors for things they might see and do as they visit the Museum. Although designed for individuals with autism spectrum disorder or who may have other cognitive needs, these tools may be used by all to prepare for their visit.
