The Canada Science and Technology is a must-see destination for groups visiting Canada’s Capital Region.  Visitors are invited to discover, play, and experience how people—through curiosity, observation, and creativity—have made Canada and continue to shape its future. The museum offers 11 engaging exhibitions with hands-on learning experiences as well as fun daily science demonstrations that are sure to excite visitors of all ages. 

Located just ten minutes from downtown Ottawa by car, the museum is easily accessible.

PARKING AND DROP-OFF

Onsite motor coach parking is available with convenient curbside drop-off.

ACCESSIBLE FACILITIES

The museum is committed to providing an accessible environment to visitors of all ages and abilities.

Wheelchairs are available at no extra cost. The museum features a separate gender-neutral/universal washroom, equipped with an adult-sized change table and motorized lift (please mention any special requests upon booking). 

FOOD AND DRINK

The Collective|Le collectif café by Urban Element with boxed lunch options for groups (advanced booking required). Hours and days of operation may vary.

BOUTIQUE

No visit is complete without a stop at the Boutique Scientique! Choose from a selection of science books, kits, toys, clothing and more to complement your museum experience. Hours and days of operation may vary.

SENSORY GUIDES

The sensory guides are pre-visit tools to prepare visitors for things they might see and do as they visit the Museum. Although designed for individuals with autism spectrum disorder or who may have other cognitive needs, these tools may be used by all to prepare for their visit.

To be eligible for group rates, your group must have a minimum of 15 persons. Reservations are required — please contact us or fill out a reservation request form.

Group Reservation Request

All admission prices do not include applicable taxes and are subject to change without notice.

Admission is free daily between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.

School Group Visits

School groups are invited to do self-guided tours of the museum’s superb collection at their own pace. To enhance this experience, be sure to check out our scavenger hunts for students of all ages.
