History:
Peter Pakosh and and Roy Robinson founded Versatile Manufacturing Limited in 1963 in Winnipeg. The company’s goal was to build simple tractors that were durable and easy to maintain. In 1966, Versatile became the first company in Canada to build large articulated four-wheel drive tractors. Articulated frames made it possible for these large machines to make tight turns at the end of a field. Model 118, introduced in 1967, was suited to western Canada’s large farms and sold well. This tractor was used in Saskatchewan.
