Centered on the notion of truth, the series invites Indigenous leaders to share their experiences and relationships with history, science and technology in what is now known as Canada.
Join us on October 24th, 2023 between 12:00-1:00pm ET to listen, learn about, and reflect upon, perspectives presented by Sigidimnaḵ’ Nox̱s Ts’aawit (Dr. Amy Parent), Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair, Indigenous Governance and Education, at Simon Fraser University. Dr. Parent will be discussing the rematriation of the Ni'isjoohl Memorial Pole from the National Museum of Scotland to the Hli Goothl Wilp-Adokshl Nisga'a.
