Join Ingenium for a conversation about Indigenous perspectives on science, technology, history and museums from voices across Turtle Island.
The Ingenium Research Institute, the Canadian Commission for UNESCO and the Histories at Risk Network are proud to present the Truth Before Reconciliation: Indigenous Histories with STEM virtual speaker series. The series invites Indigenous leaders to share their experiences and relationships with history, science and technology in what is now known as Canada.
Join us on March 7th, 2024 between 1:00 to 2:30pm EST to listen, learn about, and reflect upon, Indigenous fisheries management and traditional knowledge. We are honored to welcome Tom Johnson, Executive Director to the Eskasoni Fish & Wildlife Commission, Randy Billyboy, Fisheries Manager of the Tl’etinqox Council, Kathleen Matari, Inuvialuk youth, and Charles Pokiak, Inuvialuk knowledge holder.
