Olivier Carré-Delisle joined Ingenium – Canada’s Museums of Science and Innovation in March 2021 as Vice-President, Digital and Public Affairs. He is responsible for the strategy and execution of the corporation’s communications and marketing activities as well as its digital technology portfolio. In August 2023, he assumed additional responsibility for the Ingenium’s commercial operations, including retail and food services, and membership and reservations.
Olivier has more than 20 years of experience working in both the public and private sectors. As a senior leader, he has led dozens of cross-functional teams in small and medium-sized national organizations in a variety of sectors, including in federal politics, in the science and technology research and development field, in the aviation industry, and in the heritage and tourism industry.
Prior to joining Ingenium, Olivier was Director of Communications at NAV CANADA, held several senior management roles at the National Research Council Canada, and also worked at the Senate of Canada as an advisor and manager of public outreach.
Olivier holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree and a Telfer School of Management Master of Business Administration from the University of Ottawa, as well as a graduate degree in the Management of Cultural Organizations from HEC Montréal.
Olivier is a James Bond aficionado who loves to read French classic literature and philosophy. He’s an avid Yogi whose curiosity is never fulfilled. Olivier and his spouse share their Ottawa home with their beloved rescue dog, Furley.
