Biography
Sephra Lamothe is a second-year Fashion MA candidate at Toronto Metropolitan University. Sephra’s research explores how people’s experiences and environments affect material culture. She co-curated the Captive Labour exhibition, which explored garment production within the Canadian Penitentiary system and highlighted the exploitative labour occurring from 1833 to the present day.
