
The Canada Science and Technology Museum Library and Archives is preparing to move into a new building in the Fall of 2019. As staff ready the collection for the move, some services will be reduced or suspended in the coming months.
- Library Reference Services – Reduced response time, March to June 2019 and suspended from July 2019 to January 2020
- Library ILLs will be suspended from February to December 2019
- Archival Reference Services – Reduced response time, March to May 2019 and suspended June to December 2019
- Photograph reproduction requests – reduced response time, March to May 2019 and suspended June to December 2019

On-site consultation: Please make an appointment to book your visit. Wifi is available and visitors may use their own cameras to copy items for research purposes. Materials may be photocopied for a nominal fee at the discretion of Library and Archives staff. Reference assistance is available on site and can also be reached by telephone, email, or mail.

Interlibrary Loans: Loans are available to other libraries throughout North America — if you know the Museum’s Library holds a book that interests you, please request it on interlibrary loan through your local public library. The loan period is four weeks.
Please note: the Library does not lend archival material, magazines, trade literature, or technical manuals, although it can provide copies of articles for research purposes.
