New residents and citizens of Canada can now access Ingenium’s three museums of science and innovation at free and discounted admission rates thanks to a new partnership with Canoo’s Newcomer Equity Partner Program. This program, built and managed by the Institute for Canadian Citizenship, provides greater access to the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum, the Canada Aviation and Space Museum and the Canada Science and Technology Museum, along with over 2000 cultural and experiential destinations across Canada.
Recent permanent residents and new citizens of Canada can download the Canoo app to explore Canada with exclusive deals and access.
Through the Canoo app, Ingenium offers free and discounted admission as follows:
- First year: Complimentary admission
- Second year: 50% discount on admission
- Third year: 25% discount on admission
- Fourth and fifth year: 15% discount on admission
Giving greater access to Ingenium’s national museums offers newcomers to Canada the opportunity to discover the stories of the people and communities who have shaped our incredible history of innovation – and inspire a nation of collaborators, communicators, and critical thinkers. Covering soil to space – and everything in between - Ingenium museums incite amazement through sensory experiences that immerse visitors of all ages in the countless ways science and technology connect with our everyday lives.
To participate, eligible Canadians can become a member of Canoo by downloading the app and registering with the program. Then, visitors simply present the Canoo app at the museum admissions desk to access their discount.
