Many parents didn’t grow up with computers or smartphones like today’s digital-native children, creating a gap in understanding the digital risks and opportunities their kids face. This workshop helps bridge that gap by providing parents with essential tools to monitor their child’s phone, online activities, and digital habits effectively.
Participants will learn how to:
- Navigate popular online games and understand associated risks like cyberbullying inappropriate content, and interactions with strangers.
- Use parental controls to set boundaries while maintaining open, supportive communication.
- Protect their child’s digital privacy, including managing location services and understanding cookies.
By the end of this workshop, parents will feel empowered to create a safer and more supportive online environment for their families. Share your thoughts using the hashtag #CuriosityOnStage
