Audience: Camps/Groups (Ages 6 to 12)
Get your summer campers ready for an eye-opening experience! This virtual program — led by a museum facilitator— is equal parts educational and entertaining.
Our eyes can be amazing scientific tools, but things aren’t always as they first appear. In the “Look at That!” program, participants will uncover hidden worlds through a microscope, learn the secrets of optical illusions, and try glow-in-the-dark experiments! There are games, quizzes, and scientific endeavours galore in this astonishing, must-see workshop.
Adult assistance may be needed for young participants.
Note: This program is virtual via Zoom, Google Meet, or the platform of your choice.

Group organizer tips
A facilitator from the museum will connect with your group using videoconferencing software. Through the participant web camera and the chat feature, the facilitator will see and interact with the youth throughout the program.
We can provide the organizer of the virtual program with a meeting link to disseminate to their participants. If the organizer prefers to set up the link for their group, we request that this link is provided to our facilitator at least one week before the program. See the attached document for tips and tricks for connecting with your group.
After you book your program, we will provide information about the program set up and any supplies you/your participants will need to maximize your experience.
Booking requests can be made through our Online Reservation Request Form.
