Biography
Rebecca Friend is a PhD candidate in Public History at Carleton University. Her research project studies representations of children and childhood in Canadian museums and she also works with children to gather their own interpretations. She teaches in Carleton’s Childhood and Youth Studies department and History department. Rebecca is also an experienced museum professional, working as a researcher for museums across Ottawa, including Ingenium and the Canadian Museum of History.
