The Ingenium museums are re-opening– with a few changes!
We’ve missed you! We can’t wait to welcome you back. Get ready for a new museum experience.
The health and safety of the public, our staff and the animals in our care are our top priority. With special measures in place to protect everyone at our sites, we will meet public health orders and guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. But there will still be plenty to see and do! Our Museums continue to be a hub of curiosity, creativity, and fun for the whole family.
- The Canada Agriculture and Food Museum: July 30-31 (Members), August 1 (Public)
- The Canada Aviation and Space Museum: August 6-7 (Members), August 8 (Public)
- The Canada Science and Technology Museum: August 12-13 (Members), August 14 (Public)
Please note that the Ingenium Library & Archives remain closed at this time.
Health and safety comes first
To ensure a safe and enjoyable visit for our visitors, staff, and herds alike, we’ve introduced new health and safety guidelines across all our sites.
All visitors must purchase a ticket through our online admissions and select a specific time to visit. Note that members will be required to reserve their time slots through the same e-ticketing portal.
Follow the signs!
There will be fewer visitors allowed at any one time, physical distancing will be required and a directional path through the Museums will be posted for visitors to follow.
Planning your visit
To keep you safe, we’ve made some temporary changes to the existing exhibitions and common spaces at each of our sites. This means some of your favourite museum features may be closed – but don’t worry! There will still be plenty to see and do.
Please select a museum below to learn more about what to expect during your visit.
Due to our museum closures, we have extended the expiration date for all active Ingenium members by five months.
All membership parking passes that expire after February 2020 will be honoured until August 31, 2020, even if they are expired. In addition, we are pleased to compensate members for lost parking pass time due to our closures. We are unable to issue new parking passes to all holders, so instead we are providing parking pass holders with a $15 promo code for a future membership purchase with Ingenium.
