Get your digits and neurons moving with this hands-on coding event! Discover projects created by local tinkerers with Raspberry Pi microcomputers. Make your own digital game using simple coding programs, and increase your digital skills by exploring the full potential of this small, nifty device.
Brain Awareness Activities

Join the Ottawa Chapter of The Society for Neuroscience for some fun and interactive neuroscience activities. Try our Backyard Brains experiments, which allow you to control a robotic claw — or another person’s hand — with signals sent by your brain to your muscles! Test your reaction time, see your brainwaves on a computer, and discover more about touch, taste, and smell.

Celebrate National Engineering Month with the whole family by participating in a variety of amusing challenges. Try your hand at robotics, wire up electrical circuits, and build towers as high as you can reach! This activity is offered in partnership with the Ottawa Chapter of the Professional Engineers of Ontario.
