November 17, 2018 marks one year since we reopened our doors and started a fresh, new chapter at the Canada Science and Technology Museum.

Join us in celebration of our first anniversary — it’s a party you and your family won’t want to miss! The first 100 visitors to arrive at the museum this Saturday will be treated to FREE admission.*  Parking fees still apply.

The day’s schedule is jam-packed with special activities:

10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Meet circus performer Marianne Trenka, who will entertain kids and parents alike with her incredible LED props!

10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Kids’ face painting by The Painted Pixie

11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A bilingual magic show — featuring fun “pocket magic” — by Ben Lavallee

Throughout the day, you can visit our Photo Corner — where we’ll capture your silly moments and give you an instant polaroid to take home as a souvenir! You’ll also have the chance to win great raffle prizes — including gift baskets from our museum boutique or a family pass for the upcoming DaVinci exhibition.

While you’re visiting the museum, be sure to check out two new, temporary exhibitions:

  • Cipher | Decipher
An interactive exhibition exploring the past and present of communications cryptology.

  • Moving Stories
An exhibition that explores Canada’s remarkable transportation history.

Round out your day at the museum by sitting back to watch a Curiosity on Stage presentation on our Demo Stage. Or, roll up your sleeves and find some creative solutions in Exploratek, our tinkering space.

*First 100 members will receive a free family pass to share with a friend.

Note that parking fees still apply.
