Your preschool and kindergarten students will identify 3-D shapes on aircraft, build flying machines, and dress up like aviators in this exciting program.
After reading The Blue Balloon by Mick Inkpen, your students will set out to discover a variety of aircraft. At each stop marked by a blue balloon, students will look for 3D shapes within each aircraft structure. They will also count wings, windows, and wheels, and graph their observations. Finally, students will head over to the Aircraft Inventor’s Workshop, where they will build their own flying machines, and try on cool costumes.
