The Canada Agriculture and Food Museum invites your campers to experience the farm with a unique program for external day camps. The program is geared towards day camps with children ages 4 to 9, in groups of between 16 and 25 children, and is offered all summer long.
Which farm animals do you need for ice cream? Discover milk-producing mammals as you tour the Museum’s Dairy Barn and Small Animal Barn. While exploring the environment in which various mammals live, you and your campers can see, touch, hear, and smell the livestock. Take part in a rabbit circle, play a dairy object discovery game, and milk a wooden cow. Try your hand at making ice cream with an old-fashioned manual ice cream maker and taste the fruits of your labour!
For ages 4-9
$9 per child, $1 per chaperone (group leader is free).
Fee includes Museum admission.
A minimum fee of $135 will be charged per group.
