This Canada Day, NAV CANADA will give museum visitors the exciting opportunity to tour one the Company’s Flight Inspection Aircraft, a Dash 8, and to meet its flight crew.

NAV CANADA’s CRJ-200 Fly By*

Weather permitting, the NAV CANADA CRJ-200 Flight Inspection Aircraft will make a fly by, giving visitors a rare glimpse of the jet.

Ornge*

Ornge

Ornge provides land and air medical transport for ill and critically injured patients throughout Ontario. As part of the Canada Day celebration, Ornge will be flying in its Pilatus PC-12 airplane and the AW139 AgustaWestland helicopter. Visitors will have the opportunity to see these aircraft up close and meet with the pilots and paramedics who fly and work on these wonderful flying machines.

Canadian Coast Guard*

Air transportation services, particularly services provided by helicopters, are a key element in the CCG's readiness profile and response capability. The Canadian Coast Guard supports its aviation service requirements by utilizing its own fleet of 20 rotary wing aircraft across Canada. These aircraft are strategically located at eleven bases across Canada. One of these aircraft, a Bell 429 helicopter, will be at the Museum for Canada Day.

RCMP Pilatus PC-12*

The RCMP's Air Services provides direct operational support in technical and specialized areas of airborne law enforcement, enabling front-line members to preserve the peace, uphold the law and prevent and investigate crime. Help the RCMP Air Service celebrate their 80th anniversary on Canada Day!

Experimental Aircraft Association*

The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) is a growing and diverse organization of members with a wide range of aviation interests and backgrounds. Come and meet with the pilots and see the diverse range or aircraft they fly!

Rockcliffe Flying Club

At the Rockcliffe Flying Club in Ottawa, we are enthusiasts, instructors and advisors. But most of all, we are flyers. And we LOVE what we do. Come meet us this year at the Aviation and Space Museum where you can ask us any questions you’d like including how you too could become a piolet!

In addition, the Canada Aviation and Space Museum will be offering its popular biplane and helicopter sightseeing tours throughout the day.
