The Board of Trustees of Ingenium – Canada’s Museums of Science and Innovation invites you to its Annual Public Meeting.
Dr Gary Polonsky, Chair of Ingenium’s Board of Trustees, and Ms Christina Tessier, President and CEO, will provide an overview of the museums' activities in areas including education, exhibitions, research, and collections.
A summary of the audited financial statements for the most recent fiscal year, 2017-2018, will be presented.
Several well-known Canadians will participate in a panel discussion about embracing failure and the lessons they learned from it in order to succeed personally and professionally. Panel participants are:
- Shelley Ball, founder and president, BIOSPHERE Environmental Education and 44th Parallel Photography
- Marianne Drolet-Sénéchal, 2017 STEAM Horizon Award winner and medical student, panel moderator
- Robert Thirsk, Canadian astronaut
Ingenium governs three national museums: the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum, the Canada Aviation and Space Museum, and the Canada Science and Technology Museum.
