Program Description
It’s harvest time! Bring your students to the museum to learn all about pumpkins, a symbol of fall. They will listen to a story, take part in pumpkin experiments, and explore the origins of fall traditions. After learning the characteristics of the plant and its fruit, each student will get to bring a small pumpkin back to class.
Consult this Educational Activity Kit for ideas to extend the learning — and the fun!
