Pumpkins School Program

Please note that on site school programs are unavailable until further notice. Visit our Virtual Field Trips.

Program Description

It’s harvest time! Bring your students to the museum to learn all about pumpkins, a symbol of fall. They will listen to a story, take part in pumpkin experiments, and explore the origins of fall traditions. After learning the characteristics of the plant and its fruit, each student will get to bring a small pumpkin back to class.

Consult this Educational Activity Kit for ideas to extend the learning — and the fun!
